Whether traditional delicacies, creative dishes from around the world or vegan delicacies: In the gourmet hotel DAS EDELWEISS Salzburg Mountain Resort in Salzburg Land guests experience culinary diversity at the highest level. The hotel kitchen, which has been awarded 2 toques, is under the direction of family member and head chef Alexander Hettegger. It attaches great importance completely after the slogan EDELWEISS Mountain Cuisine to the employment of domestic as well as seasonal products and knows its suppliers personally. Dairy products, for example, come from farmers in Großarl. Meat products are sourced from the in-house butchery GROSSARLER GENUSS. Fish is supplied by the local Arler fish farm in Hüttschlag. Oysters and caviar come from the Grüll manufactory in Salzburg and bread either from the local baker or directly from the kitchen team.
You can enjoy the EDELWEISS Genuss menu in the main restaurant, in the lobby, in the Alpin Bar as well as in the Spa Bistro. For our hotel guests as well as external visitors our kitchen is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm.

In addition to the included hotel cuisine, there is the option to indulge in one of the numerous restaurants. Fine dining delights with an exclusive 6-course menu await guests at PETRUS Fine Dining, while the Alpinlounge brings salads and international as well as Austrian main dishes to the plate. Meat lovers will find another culinary highlight in the new steak restaurant SIRLOIN Grill & Dine since 2021 - open show kitchen with grill included. Wine connoisseurs will get their money's worth at the wine bar Kork & Gloria, which invites guests to taste fine wines at a gourmet table and houses an adjacent wine archive. Very popular at the resort is the sushi, which is created by the Laos-born sushi master Alexis. He looks back on his years of experience in Asian fusion cuisine in restaurants and luxury hotels worldwide. Since 2021, he has been putting his skills to the test with a sushi pop-up restaurant, treating guests to fine sushi creations and seafood specialties such as oysters, caviar and ceviche. During the day, the creations are served on a mobile trolley in the Alpin Lounge and Spa Bistro, while in the evening, guests are seated in the Kork & Gloria. The Alpin Bar with international wines, selected spirits and cocktails created in-house, as well as weekly rum tastings, rounds out the culinary offerings.
