DAS EDELWEISS is located in Grossarl in the Salzburger Land region, approximately 70 km south of Salzburg. The resort is situated in the heart of the Grossarl Valley and can be reached via the A10 Tauern motorway as well as via Bischofshofen and St. Johann im Pongau. Salzburg and Munich airports, as well as the train stations in Bischofshofen and St. Johann im Pongau, are listed as arrival points.

The resort offers rooms and suites in the categories Top Suites, Suites and Double Rooms. Available categories include Penthouse Suite, Top Suite “Edelweiss”, Top Suite Deluxe, Family Suite Deluxe, Family Suite Superior, Adults Suite Deluxe, Panorama Suite, Junior Suite Premium, as well as Double Room Premium, Deluxe and Superior.

The EDELWEISS Mountain Spa covers 7,000 m² across 5 floors. It includes areas for families and adults-only guests, an indoor and outdoor infinity pool, sports pool, indoor pool, plunge pool, saltwater pool, indoor whirlpool, family whirlpool and baby pool. Treatments are available at the Beauty Mountain Spa.

For families, DAS EDELWEISS offers Family Suites, a Family Spa, children’s meals, bathrobes and slippers for children, as well as the EDELWEISS Children’s World spanning over 1,000 m². Childcare is available daily for children from age 0 for an additional fee and is included for children aged 3 and above.

The resort is positioned for active holidays with hiking, biking, skiing, yoga, workouts, fitness, tennis and golf. In winter, ski-in/ski-out access, the in-house EDELSPORTS Rental ski shop and a ski depot with a private locker for each room are available. The Grossarl Valley is home to 40 managed alpine huts.

Dogs are welcome at DAS EDELWEISS. Daily fees are charged based on the dog’s shoulder height: €30.00 for dogs up to 30 cm and €60.00 for dogs over 30 cm. A dog bed with a blanket and a welcome treat package can be provided. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.
