An exceptional winter season is coming to an end - and we are delighted to conclude it with an equally exceptional award: DAS EDELWEISS was named Best Ski Hotel in Austria by Falstaff.

We received this great honor at the Falstaff Hotel Awards ceremony in the stylish ambience of the Hotel Park Hyatt in Vienna - a moment full of pride, gratitude and joy. For us, this is a strong sign of appreciation - and at the same time motivation to continue on our chosen path. For us, it is also an expression of what DAS EDELWEISS is all about: genuine warmth, alpine elegance and a team that creates special vacation experiences every day with passion and dedication.

We, the Hettegger family, can look back over the last 7 years on a huge change in the structural substance and innovation at DAS EDELWEISS. We have succeeded in creating a change full of contemporary architecture and a warm ambience, coupled with the professional and competent service of our team. Our cohesion as a family makes many things possible and we greatly appreciate the fact that we inspire guests with our hotel every day anew. This bond, this family foundation, is far more than tradition for us: it is our strength and our greatest joy.
