Ski Holidays with Ski Amadé
The Largest Ski Region in Austria Right in Front of the Hotel
What does Grossarl have that other holiday destinations can’t offer? Besides the gorgeous alpine pastures in summer, it’s the proximity to world-class skiing in winter that gets your attention. Grossarl is part of the largest ski network in Austria, meaning that here you are at the front door to a skiing wonderland. 860km of slopes with one ski pass – this is Ski Amadé.
The selection of slopes of varying levels of difficulty seems almost endless throughout Ski Amadé. This is no wonder considering this ski network is comprised of 5 different Austria ski regions. The choice is yours: stay on the varied terrain of the Grossarl ski area or set your sights on another region to explore? With a multi-day pass you can ski on any slope at any resort in the Ski Amadé network.
The Ski Regions of Ski Amadé
- Salzburger Sportwelt: 9 ski areas
- Schladming-Dachstein: 8 ski areas
- Gastein: 3 ski areas
- Hochkönig: 3 ski areas
- Großarltal: 2 ski areas
Although a few of these ski regions fall outside of the Grossarl Valley region, they are closer to Hotel Edelweiss than you might think. The St. Johann (Salzburger Sportwelt) ski area, for example, is only 20 minutes away from Grossarl.
Gratis Ski Bus throughout Ski Amadé
In the hotel’s underground car park, leave your car protected from snow, ice and the cold during your holiday stay. Thanks to the ski busses of the region, you can reach the nearby Ski Amadé ski areas without hassle. The ski busses can bring you to the Gastein and Alpendorf St. Johann ski areas completely free of charge. You won’t need to use the ski bus in Grossarl, however, because guests of Hotel Edelweiss stay directly next to the valley station of the Panoramabahn gondola.
